The Comparative and International Education Society (CIES) has elected a new Vice-President, Dr. Supriya Baily, co-director of the Center for International Education at George Mason University, to serve a four-year term. The organization is one of the largest in the world and has over 3,000 members who work with over 1,000 organizations to address global educational challenges. 66th annual conference
The comparative and international education society (CIES) will hold its 66th annual conference on February 27 – March 3, 2022, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The conference will focus on the changing environment in which international education takes place. This includes the impact of global changes on education and the increasing number of actors involved in this area.
CIES was founded in 1956 as the Comparative Education Society. In 1968, the name was changed to the Comparative and International Education Society.
